The Development Centre is a multi-disciplinary Centre where young people with physical and learning difficulties, including brain injuries, are supported to develop the required skills to allow them to move on to a lifestyle and location of their choice.

We have a vacancy for a chef to provide nutritious and balanced meals for clients and staff.  The successful candidate will:

• be responsible for the day to day smooth running of the kitchen, including line management of staff
• have a sound catering background and full understanding of kitchen practices, including current hygiene and Health & Safety legislation
• plan menus and order food within a budget
• co-ordinate a shift system to ensure staff cover 7 days a week
