Working with QEF
Queen Elizabeth’s Foundation for Disabled People has been challenging disability for over 75 years. QEF provides services to meet the needs of people with disabilities, specialising in independent living, mobility, vocational training and neuro-rehabilitation.
We offer a wide range of roles throughout QEF that are based at a number of locations in Surrey.
The people who work for QEF are one of our greatest assets. Our services to disabled clients could not be provided without our staff.  The successful recruitment and retention of staff is vital to the continuing success of QEF.
QEF services are diverse and so are our clients.  Although we may all look different, QEF people have one thing in common – a passion for what we do. We want to recruit the best and the brightest: people who thrive on collaborating through team work and the discovery of new opportunities.  QEF people are able to agree their own goals within a strategic framework and all QEF employees are provided with the support and development in order to achieve these goals.
QEF provides staff with a wide range of employment benefits, including up to 33 days’ annual leave (pro-rata for part-time staff), a contributory pension, life assurance, heathcare plan, shopping discounts, childcare vouchers and free staff parking at our semi-rural locations.
We employ around 250 staff across QEF and we all enjoy the benefits of the assistance from over 250 volunteers who provide invaluable support.
You can see a list of current vacancies and can download an application form, together with guidance notes for completion, from the left-hand menu. Each vacancy includes details for returning your application.
We will write, telephone or email successful applicants to send invitations for interviews.  If you have not hear from us within two weeks of the closing date, please feel free to contact the relevant service to see how your application is progressing.
There are exciting and challenging times ahead at QEF as we work with disabled people to develop skills and improve independence. QEF services support our clients achieving goals for life
If there are no current vacancies which are of interest to you, you may like to volunteer for any of the QEF services or for any of our shops. If there are no specific volunteer opportunities identified in the left hand menu, please click on our Get Involved box for further information.
There are many things you can do to help QEF to provide our services for disabled people – we look forward to you joining us.
