Neuro Rehabilitation

disability charity

Neuro rehabilitation is provided by QEF at out centre in Surrey. We provide assessment, intensive neuro rehabilitation and education. Primarily we work with young adults between 16 and 35 years of age, who have acquired disabilities and associated learning difficulties as a result of acquired brain injury.

We tailor our acquired brain injury services to meet the needs of each individual. We are registered with the Care Quality Commission and accredited by OFSTED. We are also a National Specialist College. Our neuro rehabilitation services are based at Banstead Place in Surrey.

Neuro Rehabilitation Services

An initial period of detailed assessment leads to the negotiation of an Action Plan, designed to address each client’s needs and determine the acquired brain injury services required for each individual. The Action Plan comprises long-term goals and shorter-term aims and targets; these are regularly evaluated and revised. The staff work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary framework.  Programmes of neuro rehabilitation are made up of the following elements:

  • Education including ICT
  • Community/Educational Reintegration
  • Clinical Psychology: cognitive therapies
  • Mobility
  • Vocational Rehabilitation
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Physiotherapy
  • Speech and Language Therapy
  • Planning and preparation for the future
  • Art, Design and Technology
  • Recreation and Leisure
  • Transitional Programme
  • Supported Independent Living
