This assessment is suitable for adults or children. It offers advice and trial of solutions likely to help with difficulty getting yourself or someone you care for and /or any equipment used, in and out of the car. It includes seating and postural support assessment but does not address use of car controls. The assessment may also include safety aspects and demonstration of a wheelchair accessible vehicle.
You will be able to try a range of solutions to determine which suits you best. As basic vehicle choice can be critical, it is advisable to attend for an assessment before entering into any financial commitment concerning purchase of a new car.
