Open Days for Trainees

• Come and see QEF Vocational Services and the facilities available.
• Talk to the Vocational Trainers about the skills programmes & the support they offer.
• Talk to other key staff about application procedures, job prospects, welfare issues, medical queries, leisure activities etc.
• Meet trainees at Vocational Services of a similar age & background to you.
• See the accommodation and leisure areas.

Please note the following:

• Invitations will be sent approximately 10 days before each Open Day. 
• Our Open Days are very popular and usually are booked up at least a month in advance.
• If you need to be accompanied, please do not bring more than one other person with you, as unfortunately space is limited.
• We provide a minibus pick-up from Leatherhead station at 1.15pm and there will also be buses later to take you back to the station. Details of this service will be sent to you with your invitation.
• Although we provide refreshments during the afternoon (tea, coffee & biscuits) we do not provide lunch.
• Applications for the Employability Skills Programmes cannot be made on Open Days. Please see “How to Apply”.
• If you have a lengthy journey, we may be able to provide overnight accommodation on the Tuesday of the Open Day. This must be booked in advance and is subject to the availability of rooms. Ask for details.

Open Days for Professionals

Are you a Disability Employment Advisor from JobCentre Plus or other professional working with people with long term health conditions or disabilities?

• Would you like to visit QEF Vocational Services, meet the staff, and see the training skills areas in action?

We have regular “Open Days for Professionals”.
