
Epsom College’s generosity was self-evident on Friday 2nd July as it presented a cheque for £8,000 to Queen Elizabeth’s Foundation, the Surrey-based disability charity. The College raised the money through a series of events including a charity ball and talent show as well as donations from students, staff and College supporters.Suzanne Smith a student from Epsom College presented the cheque to Jan Page, Events and Community Fundraising Manager at the Foundation, who praised the students’ initiative in fundraising events: “We have been very impressed with the enthusiasm and commitment shown by the students at Epsom College and look forward to working with them in the future.” Queen Elizabeth’s Foundation is a registered charity based in Leatherhead, Surrey providing solutions to the needs of people with disabilities through the work of its six centres specialising in education, vocational training, brain injury rehabilitation, skills development, mobility and information services.
