Safety First! - Queen Elizabeth’s Foundation receives support from safety minded Transco

Queen Elizabeth’s Foundation received over £500 from Transco thanks to the company’s Safety Charity Challenge.

Transco’s area network manager Roger Crane visited the Foundation’s Development Centre to present the cheque. Dominic Lodge, Principal of the Development Centre, was on hand to accept the donation:

"We would like to say a big thank you to all of the employees at Transco for raising this money for the Development Centre. It’s always fantastic when a local company takes an interest in the progress of the students and the work we do."

Queen Elizabeth’s Foundation Development Centre is one of the five Foundation sites challenging the needs of people with severe disabilities. Providing a vibrant and stimulating environment for young disabled people, the Development Centre creates opportunities for these students to gain greater independence and maximise their own potential.
