Brain Injury Centre hosts Art Exhibition

Clients at the Queen Elizabeth’s Foundation Brain Injury Centre will be holding an art exhibition at All Saints Church Hall in Banstead on Monday, 3 rd December between 1 and 5.30 pm. The exhibition will include paintings, multi-media drawings, silk-screen and block prints, pottery, textiles and woodwork - all individually designed and created by the clients themselves.

Queen Elizabeth’s Foundation Brain Injury Centre offers neuro-rehabilitation and education to young adults with an acquired brain injury following serious illness, injury or accident. The Centre’s aim is to explore and develop the potential for each of its clients helping to maximise independence, regain autonomy and, with support, to adjust to and prepare for a new and different life.

A highly professional team of specialist therapists and teachers, constructs programmes of learning to enable each client to restore lost function, relearn skills and develop compensatory strategies. The creativity involved in constructing the works of art play a very important part in this process.

Come along and join both the staff and clients of the Foundation’s Brain Injury Centre and learn more about our work.
