We are looking for a volunteer to help with the maintenance of the demo area in our mobility centre, which is home to our Tryb4uFly service and wheelchairs and scooters available for hire.
The Tryb4uFly assessment service provides disabled people with confidence before flying and practical help to assist with the passenger’s requirements. It is a service that is appreciated for its ability to widen opportunities and independence for disabled people.
The demo area also offers wheelchairs and scooters to hire. These are a huge investment and therefore it is important for the user to test it before they buy it.
This role will require the cleaning, hoovering, sanitising, and general organisation of the demo area. The equipment and demo area are extremely important but cannot be used if they’re not kept clean.
We are looking for someone to volunteer one day a week, or two half days, Monday to Friday. Not only would you be providing a crucial service for QEF but also serving the local community.
