Retail Shop Manager

We are looking for a motivated Shop Manager to be responsible for the day to day management of the shop, to enable the shop to operate effectively and achieve its maximum trading potential.

Job Purpose

In this role you will be responsible to achieve annually set targets and ensure that income from Gift Aid is maximised.
To maintain a high standard of presentation & ensure that regular rotation of stock is carried out.

About the role

This role is 35 hours a week to include most Saturdays.
You will be responsible for the security and the success of the shop. To achieve targets set & complete all administration on time.
To ensure that all risk assessments are carried out to current Health & safety regulations and all company polices & procedures are adhered to .
To recruit and train shop assistants and motivate volunteers to cover the weekly rota.

About the team
The shop is supported by the Head of Retail.
An enthusiastic team of volunteers are also there to support the manager and shop assistants.
