Queen Elizabeth’s Foundation for Disabled People (QEF) is saddened to hear of the passing of our President, Corinna, Lady Hamilton of Dalzell on 7th July 2025. Known affectionately as ‘Lady Corinna’, she had been QEF’s President since 1st January 2007, taking over after the passing of her husband, James Hamilton, 4th Baron Hamilton of Dalzell, who himself had been a Trustee from 1978 and then Chairman from 1989 until his passing in 2006.
Lady Corinna was an active supporter of the charity, attending many fundraising events in her 18 years as President and we are grateful for her unending support for our work and for the continued generosity of her family, who have asked for donations to QEF in her memory. We would like to express our condolences to her family and friends at this difficult time and our gratitude to everyone who makes a donation to QEF in Lady Corinna’s memory.
Gordon Bowser QEF Chairman and Karen Deacon, QEF Chief Executive.
