Apprentice Challenge

Our Corporate Partner OmniServ took part in the Apprentice Challenge where 6 teams had 2 hours on a specific day to see who could raised the most in one of our 19 charity stores in Surrey. The teams were judged on who sold the most during their 2 hours, the best shop window display which was voted by the public and who generated the most gift aid sign ups. The teams came up with innovative ways to raise more money such as face painting, hosting a raffle and free cake with every purchase.

In total OmniServ raised £3,600. The winners were announced at OmniServ’s annual Christmas Cheese and Wine night in December. Congratulations to the winners, Team Excellence and Collaboration and thank you to everyone involved!

Purple Month Initiative
In November, many of our Corporate Partners took part in our Purple Month Initiative and donated their pre-loved items to our 19 charity stores. This was inspired by the first purple Tuesday that took place 13th November 2018 and was promoted as the UK’s first accessible shopping day.
