We are delighted to announce that we are the new headline Charity Partner for the Bacchus Wine Half Marathon and 10k for 2024!
A celebration of award-winning English wine, fine food, fancy dress, music … and a little bit of running!
Would you like to take on an amazing challenge whilst raising funds to support disabled people?
Take part in Bacchus Half Marathon or 10k on the 8th September 2024. Despite this run having an ethos of a ‘fun run’ with many wearing fancy dress, this professionally organised running event has a well marked course, medical support and a medal! The route goes through Denbies Vineyard and areas of the North Downs.
10k runners will sample two incredible wines and half-marathon runners will experience a full selection of the Denbies wine range with six award-winning English wines to try along the course at five different drinks stations.
What we ask for:
Registration fee: £15
Fundraising Target 10k: £100
Fundraising Target Half Marathon: £250
When you run for QEF, you will receive:
Stewardship and support from our team to help you smash your fundraising target
Support throughout your training
Updates on the incredible work that QEF are doing and what your support is going towards
Our teams provide expert advice and life-changing services that enable over 10,000 disabled children and adults a year to develop key life skills, increase mobility and maximise their independence. We rely heavily on donations to enable this work to continue. Thank you for your support!
