QEF had a very special visitor today. Her Royal Highness Princess Anne the Princess Royal came to QEF to visit gap year students on work placement from Lattitude UK, a partner charity of which she is patron.
The Princess Royal also met residents at Dorincourt and opened the new Infozone, an IT facility sponsored by the Karten Network and the QEF Spring Ladies Lunch Committee. The Infozone offers computers that can be controlled using accessible methods including an Eyegaze eye-movement tracking sensor.
Thank you to The Princess Royal, Lattitude, the Karten Network and the Spring Ladies Lunch Committee from all of us at QEF for joining us and making our day with this visit and the new equipment that will enable us to offer even more opportunities for people with disabilities to life their lives to the full.
