Our new Care and Rehabilitation Centre is taking shape

These are very exciting times for QEF as our first new bespoke facility ever is starting to take shape at our main site in Leatherhead.

This centre, specially designed for QEF, will provide a fantastic, state-of-the-art hub of expertise for people with a wide range of disabilities.  It will be the largest ever investment in our facilities, and the first new build in our 80+ year history.

To mark the new Care and Rehabilitation Centre’s progress, Richard Hutchinson, from our architects, LOM, recently showed some of our supporters the site. Welcoming guests were the mayor of Elmbridge Councillor Mrs Shweta Kapadia, and Sir Richard Stilgoe OBE DL, who is one of our vice patrons. Sir Richard talked about the vital importance of the new centre and the difference it will make to people that have had brain injuries or strokes.

For more information on our ambitious plans for this building and the help we still need from our supporters, please visit qef.org.uk/crc
