Are you passionate about providing outstanding care and leading a dedicated team? QEF, a Surrey-based charity transforming lives of people with disabilities, is looking for a compassionate and skilled Team Supervisor to join our Care and Rehabilitation Centre (CRC).

About QEF

We support over 10,000 disabled children and adults every year, helping them regain independence and achieve their goals via our various services. Our specialist multi-disciplinary team at CRC offers person-centred neurorehabilitation for clients recovering from stroke and acquired brain injuries, focusing on improving physical, cognitive, and communication abilities.

The Role

As a Team Supervisor, you will be a key part of our care team, leading and supporting care workers to deliver personalized, high-quality care. You will oversee shifts, foster a collaborative environment, and ensure compliance with healthcare standards. This role includes hands-on care duties, team development, and maintaining a safe, respectful, and empowering environment for our clients.

The Duties:

  • Lead, support, and develop your team
  • Deliver exceptional person-centred care tailored to individual needs
  • Manage medication safely and maintain accurate records
  • Foster effective communication between clients, families, and the team
  • Contribute to continuous service improvement and quality standards
  • Deputise for senior managers when needed
  • Be a champion of QEF’s values and safeguarding standards

The person:

  • Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care
  • Experience in care supervision or leadership roles
  • Commitment to person-centred care and rehabilitation
  • Strong communication (speaking and writing) and team-building skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy
  • A valid manual driving license and willingness to undertake MIDAS training
  • You have a caring and friendly disposition
  • You are a team player but can also work independently
